We are dedicated to promoting self-awareness and self-governance, sharing and preserving the values of people in the developing world, and demonstrating the power of non-violence.
June 2016: The Daofeng & Angela Foundation is founded.
WHAT WE DO
Our goal is to fund comparative research and academic exchange to stimulate civic awareness and strengthen autonomy. We strive to promote nonviolent community communication, while enabling interaction in developing countries.
WHAT WE FUND
Comparative research and competency training to empower developing countries, so they can further their management capabilities and govern more efficiently in public affairs.
Comparative research and academic exchange programs to help cultures modernize and develop. We aim to integrate values and beliefs between developed and developing countries.
Research to bolster the public response mechanism against emergencies in developing countries.
Humanitarian programs, including those which provide aid and save lives in natural disasters and emergencies, those which reduce hunger and poverty, and those which support scientific discoveries that improve healthy living.
Professional training programs in the fields of public affairs, social policy, and health policy.
WHAT WE DO
We do not raise funds by asking for donations from the general public; all funds will be from a small group of humanitarian benefactors who agree with our cause.
We will not directly coordinate charitable activities, but will provide grants and assistance to public charities, including schools and other organizations that share our goals and believe in our mission statement.
We hope that our actions will benefit the people who need our help the most.
